Changes Reflecting Skilled Migration Industry Have Finally Been Announced

Posted on 15/03/10 in Company News, Migration News, No Comments

After much anticipation the changes reflecting skilled migration industry have finally been announced. The general industry view is that these upcoming changes will not have a significant impact on the industry. Furthermore the processes will be somewhat simplified and more efficient.

In a very brief summary and from the perspective of the business plan requirement the changes will reflect the following:

  • Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List
  • Both EN and RN visa subclasses will require market salary research
  • Businesses applying for sponsorship through EN visa routes will also be required to demonstrate measurable and auditable training efforts
  • Replacement of permanent labour agreement visas with streams in EN and RN

Evidently, the need to demonstrate business’s training requirements and market salary rates are becoming more prominent in DIAC’s approval criteria. Due to BzMark’s specialty in addressing these two critical elements we feel that we can be of greater assistance to the industry once these changes are implemented.
