BzMark Summary of Recent Changes to the Business Migration Program in NSW

Posted on 04/07/11 in Company News, Migration News, No Comments

The NSW Government department, Industry & Investment NSW, has recently introduced some changes to their policy for business migration. This can be summarised as follows;

  • Research tours are now mandatory and all 163 and 164 business migration applicants must at least undertake one tour with a Short Stay Business Visa, in NSW.
  • In general no group tours organised by migration agents are allowed.
  • Industry & Investment NSW recommends a meeting with them, after the research tour is completed.
  • If we (BzMark) assist with the preparation of the business plan we must also assist with the research tour.
  • The business plan conditions are further tightened to ensure that the business with the experience of the applicant remain aligned and that the future NSW business has a good chance of success.

As you may be aware, we have assisted with the preparation of business plans and research tours for many years. We have continuous contact with Industry & Investment NSW, as we have with other State Governments. Preparing effective business plans coupled with a meaning full research tour(s) not only increases the chances for State sponsorship significantly, it also prepares a solid footing once the business begins operating.

BzMark offer a range of services including business plan preparation and conducting research tours as well as finding, negotiating and starting businesses to assist the business migrant.
