Australian states welcome business migrants

BUSINESS MIGRATION TALK

Australian states are increasingly recognising the incremental value and contribution that business migrants bring to their economy, employment and cultural diversity. In one way or the other, nearly all state governments have relaxed their criteria by eliminating business investment exclusions, reducing the minimum business investment and the state sponsorship application processing times.

Below table provides a quick reference to the individual state processing times for provisional and permanent business visas.

In line with business investment that fits the business visa criteria, we are assisting business migrants in identifying, negotiating and purchasing businesses on their behalf.

We visit China on a regular basis and we are getting an increased demand for investment opportunities in agricultural projects.

To service this demand and to take advantage of various business opportunities within the local agricultural sector, we have incorporated Golden Willow Investments (GWI). GWI business involves purchase of carefully selected local agribusinesses that grow their own produce. Once acquired, these agribusinesses will be improved and repositioned for export markets. The revamped agribusinesses will then be marketed to various business migrants and general investors.

An opportunity for a small number of sophisticated investors has been created to attain a shareholding in GWI. Fully franked shareholder dividends are projected between the 14% and 16% per annum on invested equity. Minimum investment amount is $100,000 with a minimum term of 24 months.

GWI has been established to raise $4.5M. These funds will then be used for purchasing and managing a portfolio of 4 to 6 boutique size farms. An experienced investor panel will be appointed to manage the business investment portfolio. Within the 12-24 months these farms will be sold to offshore investors and business migrants wishing to apply for 188a,b or 132a.

If you have clients that are interested in agriculture investments or wish to use such a business for their personal visa route, please contact Theo at our office. Commissions are available for successful lead generators.
