New Queensland BIIP (Business Innovation and Investment Program) criteria has become effective from 25 July 2016.

Subclass 132 Business Talent Visa Summary

Net business and personal assets of 1.5million to be transferred to Queensland within the 2 years after visa grant.

  • Minimum of 1 Million investment into the business
  • Minimum of $500,000 settlement funds
  • Must reside in QLD

Subclass 188 Business Innovation and Investment Stream Summary

Net business and personal assets of $800,00 to be transferred to Queensland within two years after visa grant.

  • Minimum of $200,000 business investment
  • Must reside in Queensland

Criteria for Investor Stream:

  • Current Austrade complying Investment Framework
  • Minimum four year investment commitment to Queensland Treasury Corporations Bond
